Meet Isabella Houston, Physical Therapist Assistant
Isabella graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with her B.S. in Kinesiology, and obtained her Personal Trainer Certification from ACSM and her Functional Training Specialist certification from NESTA shortly thereafter. She worked as a Personal Trainer and coached Bootcamp, GoldsFit, Core, and Aqua classes for 4 years before enrolling in the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at St. Philip's College. She is excited to bring her love of sports and training to OSA to help her patients achieve a higher standard of functional fitness and mental wellness.
Isabella grew up in San Antonio and has been involved in athletic sports since age 6. She has a plethora of experience including 12+ years of ballet, ice skating, platform diving, and gymnastics. She had the privilege of representing Texas at the International Ballet Competition 2011 in Jackson Mississippi and had been the recipient of summer scholarships to Ballet Nouveau Colorado, The Joffrey Ballet Chicago, The Choreography Project in North Carolina, and The Joffrey Workshop Texas.
In her spare time Isabella enjoys weightlifting, hiking, and exploring fun new popups and food trucks around the city with her husband and family.
